C-1     FIRE PROTECTION AGENCY

                 C-1-1    PURPOSE

                  The purpose of this chapter is to describe the City of Fort Pierre’s policies concerning fire protection with the City                       of Fort Pierre.

        C-1-2             FIRE PROTECTION AGENCY

                  The City of Fort Pierre shall maintain no fire department as a component or division of city government, but shall                       contract with local fire fighting agencies for fire protection.

This            This section shall in no way prohibit or penalize participation by City officers or employees in volunteer fire fighting  ac              activities.
