The City of Fort Pierre does not provide garbage pickup.  Residents are required to contract with a licensed refuse haulers for the removal of garbage.  The following are licensed haulers within the city limits:

Yard Waste Free drop-off is provided for FREE at the Pierre Solid Waste Facility located at 2800 E. Park St. For more information, call the Solid Waste Facility at 773-7434. See MAP for location
