FORT PIERRE CITY COUNCIL

SPECIAL MEETING

May 30, 2012

The special meeting of the Fort Pierre City Council was called to order by Mayor Sam Tidball at 12:05 pm.  Members present for Roll Call were Bernhard, Cronin, Gabriel, Hanson, Rathbun, and Ricketts.  Officials present were Heezen, Lawrence, and Thorson.

Agenda.  Cronin moved and Gabriel seconded to approve the agenda.  Motion passed on Voice Vote. 

Engineering Services for Street Repairs.  Lawrence presented a list of streets in need of repair, mostly flood related, and an estimated cost and scope of work for each.  Most of the damaged streets have been documented by FEMA, with some of the streets needing re-evaluated due to more extensive damage/change of scope from the initial analysis dome by FEMA.  Lawrence will work with State OEM personnel to document such situations.  Ricketts moved and Bernhard seconded to authorize obtaining quotes ffor engineering services needed for the proposed street projects.  Motion passed on Voice Vote.

Adjournment.  With no further business, Tidball declared the meeting adjourned at 12:41 p.m.
