D-2-1 PURPOSE

The purpose of this chapter is to enumerate the standing committees of the Fort Pierre City Council and describe the appointment process for the members of each.

D-2-2 STANDING COMMITTEES

Standing committees of the Fort Pierre City Council shall consist of four (4) Council members, as follows:

A. Finance Committee.

B. Utilities Committee.

C. Property and Parks Committee.

D. Personnel Committee.

D-2-3 MEMBERSHIP

Members of the standing committees established hereby shall be appointed by the Mayor, with approval by the Council, at the first regular Council meeting of the month following the annual elections of Council members.
