B-5 PERSONNEL

B-5-1 PURPOSE

The purpose of this section is to provide for a uniform and sound personnel administration policy within the City of Fort Pierre.

B-5-2 PERSONNEL POLICY

There is hereby adopted a certain policy known as the Personnel Policies, and the whole thereof shall be on file with the City Finance Office. Additional deletions, modifications, and amendments may be made by the City Council as an administrative matter by resolution and shall be effective upon their adoption and filing with the City Finance Office. The Finance Officer or his designee shall keep and maintain a master copy of said policy, including all future deletions, modifications, and amendments which may be adopted by the City Council herein provided and the same shall be available and subject to public inspection at all times.

B-5-3 POLICY MANUAL – FORT PIERRE POLICE

The Personnel Policies, shall be amended to attach as a part thereof Appendix Number 1, Policy and Procedure Manual, Fort Pierre Police Department, and the whole thereof shall be on file with the City Finance Office. Additional deletions, modifications, and amendments may be made by the City Council as an administrative matter by resolution and shall be effective upon the adoption and filing with the City Finance Office. The Finance Officer or his designee shall keep and maintain a master copy of said policy including all future deletions, modifications, and amendments which may be adopted by the City Council herein provided and the same shall be available and subject to public inspection at all times.
