The Fort Pierre City Pool is opening for the season on Friday, June 2, from 12:30 pm to 5 pm. There will be no Friday night swim and the pool will be closed all day Saturday, June 3. Starting Sunday, June 4, it will be open seven days a week including July 4. Open Swim is from 12:30 pm to 5 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm unless otherwise posted. The pool closes at 5 pm on Saturdays. No open swim Saturday evenings. Cost is $2 per child/adult per session. One may purchase a $30 individual pass or $50 family pass for the season. The swimming lesson schedule will be posted on the web site at www.fortpierre.com under the Departments tab, then Parks, Recreation, & Fireworks.
