The City of Fort Pierre is placing a water restriction for all system users effective Monday, September 25, 2023 at 7 pm until Thursday, September 28, 2023 at midnight. The Bureau of Reclamation and Mni Wiconi will be repairing a water leak in their trunk line that serves the City of Fort Pierre and other communities. The water will be shut off to the City and we will be using water from our storage water supply. This restriction is put in place to minimize issues with supply during this time, including fire protection.
We are asking our customers to limit unnecessary water usage during this time and we will put out another notification when the restriction is lifted. NO LAWN WATERING until restriction is lifted.
