The following offices will become vacant due to the expiration of the present term of office of the elective officer:
- Gloria Hanson – Mayor, Two (2) year term
- Larry Cronin – Alderman Ward I, Two (2) year term
- Scott Deal – Alderman Ward II, Two (2) year term
- Rick Cronin – Alderman Ward III, Two (2) year term
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on Monday, February 2, 2026 and petitions may be filed in the Office of the Finance Officer located at the Stanley County Courthouse, 08 East 2nd Avenue, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. mountain standard time no later than Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
