The City of Fort Pierre is placing a water restriction for all system users, effective Monday, August 10, 2026 at 5 pm until further notice. The Mni Wiconi will be repairing water leaks on their line that serves the City of Fort Pierre. The water will be shut off to the City and we will be using water from our storage water supply. This restriction is put in place to minimize issues with supply during this time, including fire protection.
We are asking our customers to limit unnecessary water usage during this time and we will put out another notification when the restriction is lifted. NO LAWN WATERING until restriction is lifted.
